**Job Title: Barrier Wall Installer**
Job Summary
The Barrier Wall Installer position requires performing installation of highway Barrier Wall and a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
Essential Job Functions
Includes, but is not limited to, the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by management personnel to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.***
- Layout of highway barrier wall.
- Handling and installing all of the materials for highway barrier wall.
- Loading and unloading materials on a flat-bed truck and/or trailer by hand, digging holes, using power tools, operating a front end loader or forklift, and other equipment.
- 3-5 years barrier wall installation or related experience.
- Class A CDL preferred but not required.
- Repeated physical effort including driving for several hours per day or several hours at a time, standing and walking for extended periods of time (more than several hours), loading and unloading equipment into and out of company vehicles, walking on varying ground surfaces and frequently lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Working from elevated platforms, ladders or truck beds
- Operating hand/power tools, manual dexterity to operate keyboards and smart phones, physical agility to use arms, legs and hands repetitively
- Working outdoors, working safely under adverse environmental and weather conditions which include high speed traffic areas, heavy construction equipment, fuel fumes and construction substances
- Comfortable around vehicles moving through work zones and maintaining constant awareness of surroundings on construction site including placement of machinery and equipment, other employees and construction activities

- Hearing adequate to hear approaching vehicles, audible commands at a distance from supervisors, conversations in person, and over the telephone
