What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Unit Counselor position at ACMC Healthcare System?
Combined position of providing direct care of patients attending IOP/Continuing Care treatment as needed, under the supervision of the Clinical Director and/or assisting with Counseling Assistant duties on the inpatient unit. Duties include but are not limited to IOP treatment groups, Continuing Care treatment groups, assisting with evening lectures and 12 step meetings, case management, crisis intervention, UDS's and patient searches. Candidate must possess excellent documentation skills and meet all documentation requirements.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or other related field
- Minimum CDCA required and license eligible
- One year's experience in an inpatient addiction treatment setting preferred
