Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans/goals for patients
- Monitor student progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
- Educate students and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes
- Ensure a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team
- Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred, particularly in skilled nursing facilities or acute care settings
- Familiarity with physical therapy practices
- Strong understanding of anatomy to assist in developing appropriate treatment strategies
- Previous experience in schools will be beneficial for this position
