What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remediation / Demolition Laborer position at ACM Removal?
Looking for dependable and hard-working people to perform physical, demolition-type work. Workers at our company average about 42-46 hours per week, typically working only M-F during first shift no on-call shifts, very limited night or evening work, pay while commuting to job sites, and per diem for out-of-town work. This job offers a lot of variety, the satisfaction of improving the state's building stock, and the flexibility with working for a smaller company. We want workers who:
- Rarely miss work
- Work hard, get along with others, and can learn a new trade
- Have a driver's license, dependable transportation, and a relatively clean record
- Can wear a respirator and comply with safety rules
- Are comfortable sometimes working in dirty environments and tight spaces
- Can pass a physical and drug test
- Can speak English and meet I-9 work authorization requirements
- Can travel overnight, within the state, for up to 35% of time worked
Dependability, strong work ethic, good attitude, and stamina are more important than experience, but backgrounds in remediation, restoration, demolition, or construction are preferred and will result in the higher end of the wage range.
