Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and press brake operations.
