Senior Community Residence Counselor - OMH Programs

Full-time position with a choice of schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday

Requires one evening shift per week (3:00 PM–11:00 PM); remaining shifts are 9:30 AM–6:00 PM with a 30-minute break.

Salary: $29.71/hour (non-exempt)

In this role as a Senior Community Residence Counselor, you will:

• Ensure quality services are provided to each person supported through person-centered planning and maximize opportunities for integration with the community.
• Assist the Supervisor in monitoring and documenting the delivery of all services.
• Implementation of person supported behavioral support plans/strategies and documentation of person supported behaviors.
• Participate in the departmental on-call system including remaining on-call for the work week and participate in the weekend on-call system.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of staffing plans to ensure each person’s health and safety, including the possibility of providing direct care when necessary

This position as a Senior Community Residence Counselor requires:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in the field of Human Services
• Clean, valid New York State driver’s license
