Duration: 12 Months Possible Extension
Rate: $82/hr on W2
Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Summary:
- Seeking an Experienced Project Engineer with the Digital Engineering Services Team in Long Beach, CA.
- Responsible for technical, schedule, and financial baselines of C-17 Digital Engineering Services.
- Support entire product lifecycle including business capture, baseline establishment, requirement development, supplier subcontracting, systems integration, field support, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate hardware/software development and data analytics services across internal groups and with USAF/international customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Execute complex project management driving schedules while minimizing impact to other engineering efforts
- Meet technical performance, quality, cost, and on-time delivery of products/servicesAccountable for customer happiness and success throughout project life cycle Manage projects through all phases: proposals, development, qualification, and customer support.
Required Qualifications:
- 9 years’ experience with Project Management of USG, Aerospace, and/or DoD projects. Education: Bachelors in engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry 9 yrs exp OR Master 7 yrs OR PhD 4 yrs
- History managing projects through proposals, development, qualification, customer support
- Knowledgeable in subsystem design, requirement allocation, technical supplier management
- Critical analysis and problem-solving skills across system, hardware, and software architectures
Preferred:
- Military aircraft program experience, C-17 matrixed org experience, PMBOK familiarity, strong leadership/team building skills
Salary : $80 - $82
