Senior Director / VP – Sales, Life Sciences
ACL Digital is looking for an accomplished Senior Director / AVP of Sales – Life Sciences to drive new business growth across the Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device, and CRO markets.
This is a build-from-scratch sales leadership role for someone with a strong Life Sciences network, deep experience in CRO/Data Science services, and a proven track record of developing new logos and building high-performing sales teams.
What You’ll Do
- Drive direct sales growth with Tier-1 Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device companies, and large CROs.
- Own both revenue and gross-margin targets for your business.
- Build a strong pipeline and acquire new strategic customers.
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies across Staffing, FSP, Consulting, Digital Solutions, and Outsourcing.
- Drive opportunities across Data Science/Biometrics, Statistical Programming, Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, QA, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Operations, and emerging digital technologies.
- Develop business across North America, India, and Europe, with a strong focus on FSP and India-based outsourcing.
- Build and lead a high-performing global sales team.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and work closely with leadership on sales and account strategies.
- Own sales forecasting, P&L performance, contracts, bids, and overall business growth.
What We’re Looking For
- 15 years of experience developing business within the Life Sciences/CRO industry, particularly in the Data Science space.
- Proven experience building and leading global sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the Pharma, Biotech, CRO, and Life Sciences services ecosystem.
- Experience managing $30M in annual sales, with a significant portion coming from new business.
- Experience with India-based outsourcing.
- Strong understanding of P&L and financial metrics.
- Established relationships with senior decision-makers across Pharma, Biotech, CRO, and Life Sciences digital solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic selling skills.
