Patient Benefits Analyst

Title: Analyst - Epic/Clearinghouse (Revenue Cycle, Coverage Discovery & Patient Responsibility)

Work Mode: 75% remote and 25% in person

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to support our Revenue Cycle team by reviewing coverage discovery for scheduled patient appointments, documenting findings in Epic, and identifying trends across our 88 clinic locations. This role plays a key part in optimizing patient responsibility collections and strengthening third-party payment processes, while partnering closely with clinical and operations leadership.

What You'll Do

• Review coverage discovery for scheduled patient appointments to determine patient responsibility
• Accurately document coverage findings within Epic
• Identify trends in coverage and point-of-service (POS) patient responsibility collections across all clinic locations
• Recommend process improvements to optimize collection of patient responsibility revenue and third-party payments
• Communicate effectively with clinical and operations leadership on coverage discovery, patient responsibility, and broader revenue cycle topics

Required Skills & Experience

• Epic PB experience required; Epic certification preferred
• RHIA, RHIT, or CPC certification required
• Strong background in revenue cycle reporting, system build/logic, claims adjudication, and data analysis
• Experience training staff on revenue cycle processes
• Hands-on clearinghouse experience
• Experience with third-party coverage discovery
• Ability to interpret Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) results
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public health, community health, physician clinic, FQHC, or RHC revenue cycle settings
