Location: 200 First Street SE Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 (Hybrid position. Expect to be in office T-W-T)
Pay rate Range: $17.85/hour on W2
Description:
Assists in the effective creation and delivery of customer solutions and products to employees and/or customers through various marketing and communications channels. Coordinates activities to assist in participation and engagement in products that supports the overall company brand.

Primary Accountabilities
*Ensures marketing includes appropriate employee awareness of company information and activities.
*Recommends and supports the best methods and types of marketing or communication tools to reinforce key messages.
*Uses creative concepts and writing to reinforce company brand and effectively market programs or solutions to employees and customers.
*Supports planned marketing activities for internal and/or external customers with an understanding of the subject matter to incorporate into communications.
*Ensures marketing and communications activities meet internal customers’ timing and objectives. Consider potential impacts on other planned communications and assists with the identification of key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
*Applies various marketing strategies to successfully meet the expected response from the target audience.
*Participates in community events to enhance company reputation and brand .
Supervision
*Performs work under the direct supervision of a Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to perform this job.
Educational Requirements Education Level Field of Study Required/Preferred Bachelor's Degree Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related area.
Preferred Required Experience
*2 years of technical or professional experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
*Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheet and project management) preferred.
*Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, cross functional team capacity to bring marketing ideas from concept to execution.
*Demonstrated experience with event management and sponsorships.
*Demonstrated understanding of short and long-term marketing plan development, budgeting and project scheduling.
*Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
