Type of Position: Only on W2 basis
Description
- We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support Clinical & Commercial Plant Automation programs and capital projects within a GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support automation software development, testing, commissioning, and plant operations
- Work on DeltaV DCS, Rockwell PLC/SCADA, HMI, and process control systems
- Support automation lifecycle activities including implementation, validation, SOP updates, training, and system integration
- Participate in capital projects, operational support, troubleshooting, and on-call rotation
- Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards including 21 CFR Part 11
Required Skills:
- Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering environments
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Emerson DeltaV DCS
- Rockwell Automation PLC/SCADA
- Process control systems & automation integration
- Knowledge of GMP compliance, validation, and regulated manufacturing environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotech Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of automation engineering experience in biopharma/manufacturing
- Experience with OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, virtual infrastructure, and electronic batch reporting systems
- Familiarity with ASTM 2500, S88, S95, and GAMP standards
