We are seeking a part-time, seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team at The Trellises Apartments, a 301-unit apartment community located in Florence, Kentucky, from May through August. As a Groundskeeper at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for assisting with general unit make-ready requirements as needed, snow removal, grounds upkeep, equipment upkeep and basic level service requests. We are seeking a part-time, seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team at The Trellises Apartments, a 301-unit apartment community located in Florence, Kentucky, from May through August. As a Groundskeeper at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for assisting with general unit make-ready requirements as needed, snow removal, grounds upkeep, equipment upkeep and basic level service requests. This is a training role that will provide opportunities to further the employees' level of proficiency within the maintenance trade. Additional responsibilites include:
- Physical activities related to exterior grounds maintenance and light duty interior maintenance.
- Janitorial duties helping to preserve and maintain any aspect of the apartment community and its facilities.
- Working alone or with other maintenance personnel to perform unit make-ready process (I.E. trash removal, light janitorial, light carpentry, light appliance troubleshooting and repair).
- Participating in move-in/out inspection process.
- Cutting keys, replacing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, resetting garbage disposals and other light maintenance duties as identified by supervisor.
- Participating in snow event preparedness and removal.
- Participating in community and equipment related preventative maintenance tasks.
- Participating in pool maintenance.
- Taking responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Community Manager.
- Ability to work part-time (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 8am-5pm) throughout May, June, July, & August.
- Basic knowledge or experience in lawn, tree, and shrub care
- Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and good driving record along with auto insurance preferred
