ACK Marine & General Contracting is looking for a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Receptionist / Bookkeeper to support our accounting and office operations. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment and have strong bookkeeping skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
· Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
· Greet customers, vendors, and visitors
· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
· Enter invoices, bills, and payments into QuickBooks Enterprise
· Maintain Purchase Orders and Job Cost Coding
· Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
· Assist with payroll and office administration
· Support Project Managers with administrative tasks
· Maintain organized filing systems and project documentation
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience required
· 3–5 years of receptionist or office administration experience
· QuickBooks experience required (Enterprise preferred)
· Construction office experience with job costing, purchase orders, subcontractors, and construction accounting highly preferred
· Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to multitask and work independently
