Electrical Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join a high-performing engineering team in El Dorado Hills, California. The ideal candidate will design and document electrical systems, cabling, and enclosures for advanced mechanical and electrical assemblies. This is an on-site position offering a competitive salary, relocation assistance, and performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document new cabling systems spanning multiple subsystems and electrical enclosures.
• Develop and update documentation for electrical and cabling modifications to existing systems.
• Independently design and document electrical and cabling details based on engineering direction.
• Determine optimal cabling configurations between various subsystems and enclosures.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to align design and performance objectives.
• Create accurate models and documentation using CAD and electrical design tools.

Qualifications

• Certification or relevant experience in mechanical design, electronics, power distribution, and cable design.
• Strong understanding of documentation structure for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with CAD and design documentation software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
