ACI Protection designs and manages commercial IP-based security camera systems for major companies across the United States, including Fortune 100 clients.

We’re looking for a senior-level security technician or system designer who is ready to transition into a formal Project Manager role.

This is not an entry-level opportunity. It’s a leadership transition.

Who This Is For

This position is ideal for someone who:

• Has 5 years in commercial security installation or system design
• Has hands-on experience with IP camera systems
• Has configured NVRs and VMS platforms
• Has helped design or lay out systems (even if you weren’t the titled PM)
• Has led crews or acted as a field lead
• Is tired of heavy travel and field work
• Wants to build a long-term career in structured project leadership
• Basic understanding of networks, how they communicate, and has set up basic network switches

You likely:

• Understand real-world installation challenges
• Know what works and what fails on-site
• Are respected by installers
• Communicate well with customers
• Want stability without giving up technical depth

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a design and coordination role — not a physical installation position.

You will:

• Design and estimate IP-based security camera systems
• Create system layouts (AutoCAD or similar software experience helpful)
• Configure NVRs, VMS platforms, network equipment for security.
• Coordinate subcontract installation crews remotely
• Interface directly with corporate clients
• Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure projects are completed correctly and professionally

Travel is minimal. You’ll work from our Delaware, Ohio office.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 5 years in commercial security integration
• Direct IP camera system experience
• Experience configuring IP-based systems
• Strong communication skills
• Proven reliability and follow-through
• Basic knowledge and experience with network equipment.

Preferred:

• Experience with Axis, Hanwha, Honeywell
• System layout/design experience
• Experience serving commercial clients

You do not need a formal “Project Manager” title to qualify.
You do need real-world experience and leadership maturity.
