Summary
The Aircraft Ground Support (Line Service Technician) position is responsible for performing all aircraft and ramp services for ACI Jet FBO customers while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients.
Reports To
The Aircraft Ground Support technician reports directly to the Aircraft Ground Support Supervisor and can take direction from the Aircraft Ground Support Lead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include the following, but are not limited to other duties that may be assigned as required by management.
- Coordinate with ACI Jet personnel to ensure that the goals and objectives relating to the FBO are achieved and carried out in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Perform essential duties to include aircraft fueling operations, ramp operations, and fuel farm management in accordance to safety and airport regulations and ACI Jet SOP as specified below:
- Safely complete fueling operations in accordance with ATA103, airport regulations, and ACI Jet SOP.
- Safely complete ramp operations in accordance with ACI Jet SOP and airport regulations, including towing, marshaling, and wing-walking aircraft of various sizes.
- Safely complete fuel farm management duties by receiving fuel loads in accordance with airport regulations and ACI Jet SOP and performing quality control checks.
- Safely operate equipment, customer, and company vehicles on and off ACI Jet and airport property in accordance with airport regulations and ACI Jet SOP.
- Work as part of a team by taking ownership over personal accountability and holding team members accountable to following ACI Jet SOPs in order to safely and completely fulfill all duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure ACI Jet clients receive exceptional service and strive to exceed client expectations. This includes coordinating and communicating with the Hospitality and Experience team to diffuse high-stress situations and manage customer expectations in a professional manner.
- Ensure all ACI Jet client requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
- Show up ready to work as designated in the employee handbook with any necessary PPE accessible.
- Actively participate in assisting with and managing ACI Jet’s fuel quality control program.
- Perform daily checks on all company equipment and actively inspect and report any issues. This includes coordinating and communicating with the Facilities team.
- Ensure the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively and positively participating in ACI Jet’s SQMS program.
Job Types: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour
Requirements
Required
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain an airport badge, including a SIDA badge.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and independently in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly motivated and organized.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and operate efficiently within guidelines of SOP while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and positively during high-pressure situations.
- Must have scheduling flexibility and availability. This position could be subject to mandatory overtime.
- Within the first 90 days of employment, a basic understanding of aviation terminology is required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, sit, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to safely perform duties in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Highly Desirable
- Prior aviation industry and/or FBO experience
- Equipment maintenance experience
- Customer service experience
