The Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Chemo Certified provides specialized, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult and/or pediatric patients receiving systemic cancer treatments. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate preparation and administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, comprehensive patient education, symptom management, and collaborative care within a dedicated oncology unit or clinic.

Key Responsibilities
- Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Administration:
- Safely and accurately prepare, verify, and administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other infusion treatments (e.g., blood products, IV fluids) strictly following established organizational and professional guidelines.
- Maintain and manage various vascular access devices (e.g., central lines, PICC lines, implanted ports) according to sterile technique and best practices.
- Monitor patients closely during infusions for adverse reactions, rapidly assessing and intervening during hypersensitivity or extravasation events.
