CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview

ACI Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals and assisted living facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Help patients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner.
• Provide patient service by addressing concerns and communicating effectively with both patients and healthcare staff.
• Support the nursing team in providing care for geriatric patients as well as children when necessary.
• Uphold hygiene standards and maintain a clean environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to better understand patient needs.
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Cerner) is a plus.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is beneficial for understanding patient care requirements.
• Experience working with geriatric populations or children is highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support.
