Warehouse Associate

Job Description

ACI Design is a trade show display company. We design, build, and warehouse exhibits for our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented person to assist in the warehouse to help build display components and crates, as well as pull, pack, assemble, and inspect client assets for shipping.

Exhibit Services Responsibilities:

• Pull Client Exhibit inventory for shows
• Arrange shipping to and from venues, coordinate with LTL carriers, UPS and FedEx.
• Inspect, repair and maintain client inventory upon return from shows
• Manage client inventory through online inventory system
• Return inventory to correct location and know where all client items are located
• Assemble and dismantle exhibits
• Must follow process and procedures consistently, without disruption.
  
  

Exhibit Build Requirements:

• Load and unload merchandise to and from trailers.
• Inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages.
• Build crates for exhibits as needed
• Build/Laminate counters for exhibits
• Organize and maintain warehouse
• Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts and ordinary hand tools, power tools, and forklift
• Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards safely.
• Perform routine facility inspection including electrical and mechanical maintenances.

• Computer and shipping skills
• Excellent grammar, math and spelling skills
• Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company.
• Detail oriented; Neat, thorough, and accurate
• Ability to independently read and understand written instructions
• Excellent time management skills.
• Work without close supervision
• Manual dexterity; mechanically inclined
• Able to lift 75 pounds
  
  

Preferred skills:

• Mechanically skilled in assembly of custom cabinet parts (doors, hinges, and latches)
• Prefer experience with laminating wood, trimming with routers, filing, and finishing.
• Ability to read a ruler, both metric and standard
  
  

Helpful skills:

• Forklift experience
  
  

Education, Training And Experience

• High school diploma
• Previous warehouse experience
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
