What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Architect position at ACI Boland?
Top Five Roles:
- Mentors project staff in development of appropriate cartoon sets for deliverable phases in alignment with ACI Boland’s Collaborative Design Process
- Serves as an oversight Quality Assurance figure across multiple projects to help assure deliverables meet the technical expectations of jurisdictions, regulatory agencies, and ACI Boland
- Collaborates closely with the studio project managers and principals to hold the line on deliverable quality, content, and adherence to sound architectural practice
- Serves as a Quality Control resource and/or reviewer at phase ends, providing timely markups and sound direction to correct omissions or errors seen in review sets.
- Supports the project manager across the length of projects as requested, including directly leading teams and providing schematic and planning leadership early on projects.
Top Five Responsibilities:
- Oversee the originating of project in accordance to ACI Boland’s standards
- Communicates closely with the PM team regarding status of projects, deliverables, and adherence to schedules and processes. Directly manage that product if assigned. May act as Job Captain on substantial projects and/or priority projects as assigned.
- Providing senior advice and counsel to both PM and Job Captain through the development of projects.
- Provides QA reviews as required by PM, including both drawing and specification products
- Provide additional expertise to PM during construction when required. Provides direct CA services on projects when assigned.
