Golf Coach / Golf Performance Coach (Part-Time)
Swing Speed – Narragansett, RI
Swing Speed is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Golf Coach to join our team in Narragansett, Rhode Island. This is a part-time position in a unique golf performance and fitness environment where coaching integrates with mobility training, strength development, and sports rehabilitation.
The ideal candidate understands modern ball flight laws, swing mechanics, and launch monitor data, and is comfortable working alongside physical therapists and fitness professionals to help golfers improve both performance and durability.
About Swing Speed
Swing Speed is a golf performance and training facility located within Achilles Physical Therapy. Our mission is to help golfers move better, swing faster, and play longer through a combination of swing coaching, fitness training, and injury prevention.
We work with golfers of all levels—from beginners to competitive players—and emphasize data-driven coaching using launch monitor technology and video analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual golf instruction and coaching sessions
- Utilize TrackMan data to analyze swing mechanics and ball flight
- Interpret club path, face angle, attack angle, and launch conditions
- Film and analyze golf swings using video analysis tools
- Educate golfers on ball flight laws and swing adjustments
- Work collaboratively with physical therapists and fitness coaches to address mobility, strength, and movement limitations
- Assist with golf performance training sessions and group clinics
- Maintain a professional, engaging, and learning-focused environment
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or coaching golf
- Strong understanding of modern ball flight laws and swing mechanics
- Experience using launch monitor technology (TrackMan preferred)
- Comfortable with video swing analysis
- Ability to clearly communicate complex swing concepts to players of varying skill levels
- Passion for golf performance, biomechanics, and player development
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with TrackMan or similar launch monitor systems
- Background in golf instruction, competitive golf, or PGA training
- Interest in golf fitness or sports performance training
