Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities, manual therapy (within state practice guidelines), and patient education.
- Progress patients through individualized rehabilitation programs while monitoring response to treatment.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist with sports medicine, orthopedic, post-surgical, and performance-based rehabilitation.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
- Foster a positive and encouraging patient experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant or eligible for licensure.
- Passion for sports medicine, orthopedics, and helping patients stay active.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
