Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in technology, software, and database systems to join our team in our Irvine, CA office. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau and/or Power BI, and experience in managing operational metrics and data infrastructure. This is a key role in supporting our operations through actionable data insights, technical support, and strategic analysis.

This role is hybrid office-based (3 days per week - Mon, Weds, Fri) in our Irvine, CA office.

What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and reporting to track key sales and operational performance metrics.
• Deliver both scheduled and ad hoc reporting across multiple business units, with a focus on Customer Support and Data Verification KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
• Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve performance and decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Design and manage engaging, user-friendly dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Leverage advanced Excel capabilities (data modelling, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas) to support analysis.
• Execute bespoke data extraction and reporting requests to support business priorities.
• Interpret Veritas data to inform strategic initiatives and drive operational improvements.

Experience Required

• 5 years’ experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role, ideally within a tech-led or operational environment.
• Strong technical proficiency in data tools and database management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP).
• Proven experience in Tableau and/or Power BI dashboard development and data visualisation.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
