Title: Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary:
The supply chain manager’s duties include but are not limited to analyzing logistics data to refine the supply chain, managing business relationships, and communicating with internal teams, suppliers, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create supply chain management strategies to increase efficiency and speed.
- Optimize transportation and warehousing functions.
- Handle communications and negotiations with suppliers.
- Balance safety, cost management, on-time delivery, and business growth, then prepare and submit reports.
- Coordinate internal activity to fulfill incoming customer orders to completion on time.
- Coordinate external warehouse and freight activity to meet customer’s order requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to maintain optimal inventory and delivery for the customer.
- Train and mentor team including reinforcement of logistics and safety guidelines.
- Oversee import/export and logistics paperwork is filed on time per regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to close operational gaps.
- Communicate with accounting to monitor customer credit activity.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a chemistry major or logistics major is preferred.
- Three years of experience in supply chain management is required.
