Achievers of Excellence Learning Academy (AOEL), founded by Georgia Thornton in 2015 and formally established in 2016, is a premier early childhood development center located in Dallas, Texas. AOEL provides meaningful educational experiences for children aged 2 months to 5 years, as well as a before and after-school program for students aged 5-12. Our curriculum emphasizes STEM/technology, reading, arts, music, wellness, languages, and environmental sustainability, all tailored to foster lifelong learning and success. This is a full-time, on-site teaching role based in Dallas, TX for a 4 & 5-Year-Old Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons, engaging young learners in creative and educational activities, and fostering a positive classroom environment. Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering lessons, monitoring student progress, maintaining classroom management, promoting social and emotional development, and communicating with parents and caregivers to support the child's growth.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and implementing structured, age-appropriate educational activities.
- Strong background in Education and Teaching, with an ability to support early childhood development.
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training and guiding children to develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Previous experience in early childhood education or similar teaching roles is an advantage.
