What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Clinician (AMFT/ASW/APCC) position at Achievements Unlimited Clinical?
You’ll deliver client-facing behavioral health services under supervision—intakes, provisional diagnostics, treatment planning, psychotherapy, care coordination, and timely documentation in the EHR—within your BBS scope and MindDivers policies.
What You’ll Do

Conduct comprehensive intakes, assess risk, and escalate immediately when indicated.

Create measurable, medically necessary treatment plans and update per policy/payer rules.

Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.

Coordinate care with psychiatry, primary care, schools, and community partners; close the loop.

Document same day or within policy timelines; align coding to services; respond to QA feedback.

Participate in weekly supervision, case conference, trainings, and chart audits; action feedback fast.
What You Bring

Active California BBS registration: AMFT, ASW, or APCC (good standing).

Master’s in a qualifying behavioral health field from an accredited program.

Experience in outpatient/community mental health, school-based, or similar preferred.

Working knowledge of DSM-5-TR basics, mandated reporting, crisis protocols, HIPAA (and 42 CFR Part 2).

Strong engagement skills, cultural humility, crisp documentation, time management, and follow-through.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Proficiency with EHR workflows and HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
Nice to Have

Bilingual skills, evidence-based certification(s), or prior experience with productivity targets and QA reviews.
