Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive behaviors and address challenging situations effectively
- Provide transportation and driving support for appointments, community outings, or activities to foster community engagement
- Collect data on progress and behaviors to track development goals and inform care plans
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols to ensure safety and compliance
- Document daily interactions, incidents, and progress notes accurately for ongoing care coordination
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as bathing, grooming, feeding, changing briefs and mobility support
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation responsibilities
- Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to support others’ growth and well-being
- High School Diploma/Or GED
- Pass Background checks and random drug screenings
