Pediatric Outpatient Clinic
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric outpatient therapy team.
The SLP will evaluate and treat children with a variety of speech, language, communication, and developmental needs while collaborating closely with families and an interdisciplinary therapy team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of communication needs
- Develop individualized plans of care and measurable treatment goals
- Provide one-on-one speech and language therapy
- Complete evaluations, progress reports, daily notes, and other required documentation accurately and on time
- Work with children with articulation, receptive and expressive language, social communication, fluency, AAC, and other communication needs
- Provide parent and caregiver education and home recommendations
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with OTs, COTAs, SLPAs, behavioral therapists, and other members of the care team
- Provide supervision to SLPAs when applicable
- Maintain professional communication with families, coworkers, and referral sources
- Maintain a safe, organized, and child-friendly treatment environment
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Alabama SLP license
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- CF-SLP candidates may be considered
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
