TITLE: Job Coach
ANTICIPATED SALARY: $23.00/hr
SCHEUDLE: Part-Time (Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday)
BONUS: $250 Sign on Bonus (paid at 90 and 180 days)
Achievement House, Inc., a non-profit organization with a history of serving individuals with developmental disabilities since 1957, is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to join our team. As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in training individuals and helping them develop job skills, adapt to workplace environments, and become more independent.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have own vehicle and maintain a current California drivers license.
- Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
- Must clear fingerprints through the California Department of Justice and the FBI.
- A high school education or equivalent.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and availability to work weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous instruction for vocational growth, tailored to the client's individual abilities and development.
- Complete and submit all necessary paperwork, including transportation documentation, attendance records, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies, and case management documentation.
- Adhere to all protocols and procedures for the specific department or program in which you are working.
- Coach individuals with disabilities on a variety of tasks, ensuring work quality meets standards and individuals are able to begin working independently.
- Ensure the health and safety of all individuals at your site.
