As a Day Program Instructor, you will be providing support and training to the individuals served in community integrated settings that relate to the person-centered goals of the participants. This is great opportunity for those who love teaching, are creative, and enjoy spending time in the community. The anticipated schedule will be:
Temporary Hours - Tuesday thru Saturday 9:30-5:30 (first 6-8 weeks)
Regular Hours - Mon thru Fri 9:30-4p

Typical day-to-day activities include:
Provide individuals with continuous instructions for independent community and vocational skills objectives that guarantee and correspond with abilities and development.
Ensure compliance with Individuals ISP and services stated in the Service Design. Supply instructions and techniques as considered necessary by the Individuals ISP.
Teach and endorse the proper activities, along with the suitable use of time.
Coordinate, document, and review activity schedules for Individuals served.
Instruct Individuals on achieving and maintaining adaptive skills and suitable behaviors.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license as driving is a must for this position
- Must be able to successfully pass a LiveScan background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be patient, compassionate, and able to be a role model for adults with disabilities!
- Basic computer/technology skills and knowledge
This is a full-time position and the anticipated hiring rate is $23.00 per hour plus benefits and perks.
