North Coast Therapy Associates (NCTA) provides comprehensive, student-centered therapy services both in person and virtually. Our therapists partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, evidence-based services that empower students to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

We're currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our growing team serving a school district in Northeast Ohio. Whether you're an experienced clinician or beginning your Clinical Fellowship, you'll receive the support and collaboration needed to thrive.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
  • 30-40 hours per week
  • Compensation: $30-$50 per hour

What You'll Do

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially by:

  • Evaluating students with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders
  • Developing individualized treatment plans and providing evidence-based therapy
  • Managing an assigned student caseload
  • Monitoring, documenting, and reporting student progress in accordance with school timelines and requirements
  • Completing educational evaluations and contributing to Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs)
  • Developing speech and language goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participating in IEP and ETR meetings while communicating findings in family-friendly language
  • Collaborating with teachers, intervention specialists, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, administrators, and families
  • Maintaining required therapy documentation and Medicaid billing
  • Supporting an inclusive, student-centered learning environment

Qualifications

  • Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Ohio Department of Education and Workforce certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Passion for helping children reach their fullest communication potential
  • Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ohio Department of Education and Workforce certification
  • Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school or educational setting
