We are currently seeking an Full-Time Recreation Aide to join our growing team of profesionals. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and will assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing , and evaluating the recreation programs for our residents.

The Recreation Aide position rotates evenings and weekends hours.

Recreation Aide Responsibilities:

• Lead activity programs for residents.
• Develop and create new recreation programs.
• Encourage residents' participation in programs.
• Prepare supplies and activities in advance.
• Participate in monthly activity calendar production.
• Track attendance at programs.
• Coordinate activities with other departments, as necessary.
• Assist in developing individualized care plans.
• Implement recreation procedures as directed by the Recreation Director by creating decorations, setting up necessary equipment as needed.

Recreation Aide Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum of, a high school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Must be energetic with a flexible schedule.
• Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
• Previous experience as a Activity Aide is preferred but not required.
