Are you a high-energy, positive professional who loves working with kids? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Program Aide to join our team for the 2025/2026 school year at Achieve Charter School!
In this role, you'll supervise and support TK–8 students in a safe, engaging after school environment. You'll help with homework, lead fun and age-appropriate activities, and create a space where students feel supported, inspired, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage TK–8 students in a structured after school program
- Provide homework assistance and academic support
- Organize and lead recreational and enrichment activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
- Model positive behavior and provide guidance in social interactions
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to manage groups of children in a safe and respectful manner
- Dependable, responsible, and enthusiastic about youth development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in education, child development, or a related field
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual skills a plus
