Position Summary
Provide Physical Therapy services to children birth to three and their families, within the context of established Early Intervention practices and in accordance with each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Services are provided in family homes and community settings, promoting growth and development through evidence-based, family-guided routines-based intervention. Reports to the Associate Director of Early Intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Physical Therapy services consistent with Early Intervention best practices and standards of the profession.
- Support the achievement of children and family outcomes through Family-Guided Routines-Based Intervention.
- Clearly communicate and collaborate with all members of the child’s IFSP team.
- Ensure required documentation and progress notes are completed within established Early Intervention timeframes.
- Maintain compliance with all State and County Early Intervention laws, regulations, and HIPAA requirements.
- Maintain certification, licensure, and continuing education requirements as required by the State of Pennsylvania and Early Intervention program standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Pennsylvania.
- At least one year of experience working with infants and toddlers (birth to three) and their families preferred.
- Must meet Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearance requirements prior to providing services.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and properly insured vehicle available for daily use.
