Position Summary:
The Branch Ambassador serves as the welcoming face of the credit union, setting the tone for every member and guest experience. This role creates a warm engaging, and professional environment that encourages membership growth and promotes Achieva’s values. Thorough thoughtful interactions and attention to detail, the Branch Ambassador ensures that every visitor feels values and supported from arrival to departure.

- Create a warm and inviting first impression through personalized greetings and attentive service.
- Guide members and guests through their visit, ensuring they are connected with the right team member and leave with a positive impression.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment including the front door, waiting areas, POD/Teller queuing space and member coffee station.
- Offer refreshments and engage with waiting members to enhance comfort and satisfaction.
- Manage queue lines efficiently and offer alternatives such as appointments, utilizing coconut for walk-ins and appointments.
Service Excellence
- Foster a member-centric culture by consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Respond to member inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Share Achieva’s story, history, and unique value proposition to deepen member connection.
- Demonstrate knowledge of core products and confidently answer the top ten most frequently asked questions.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services that meet member needs.
Branch Operation Support
- Partner with branch team members to support and achieve sales goals.
- Contribute to branch operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with administrative task such as making copies, preparing for meetings, and answering phones.
Organizational Engagement
- Represent the credit union with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions and responsibilities.
- Support leadership initiatives that position the credit union as a top employer.
- Take initiative to perform other essential functions as needed to support the team.
- Be available to work Saturdays as part of the branch schedule.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Customer service experience with strong focus on providing exceptional service to customers and members.
Certifications

Skills and Attributes
- Excellent communication and people skills to effectively interact with members and team members.
- Strong multitasking abilities, prioritization skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using banking software, computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to uphold the credit union’s values and fostering a positive work environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Professional appearance required.
- Strong commitment to fostering a member-centric culture with strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to participate branch activities and community events for branch awareness.
