Part-Time Landscape & Nursery Worker Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Landscape & Nursery Worker to join our team. This position involves outdoor landscaping duties, plant care, nursery maintenance, and general labor to help maintain beautiful residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Plant, water, prune, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
- Assist with landscape installation and seasonal cleanup
- Load, unload, and organize nursery plants and materials
- Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely
- Weed, mulch, edge, and mow lawns as needed
- Help customers with plant selection and basic gardening questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of nursery and work areas
- Follow safety procedures and work efficiently as part of a team
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping, gardening, or nursery experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Schedule
- Part-time hours available
- Weekend and seasonal availability may be required
