The Role:
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, monitor, and manage the production and inventory plans to support segment business plans, customer service, product freshness, inventory, and cost goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop production and finish goods inventory plans each period as a part of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle. The production planning process involves the development and operation of planning models to solve capacity constraints and inventory requirements using the demand forecast and agreed inventory policies.
- Manages the timing of demand and production and/or co-packing for complex promotional events and launches such that the desired quantity of products is available for sale to support the Operating Plan.
- Sets appropriate supply policies including safety stocks, production sourcing, and all parameters used with in Supply Chain Planning to manage demand, scheduling, and deployment.
- Completes situational analyses as requested by the Executive Board, Operations Staff or Business Segments regarding the company's ability to support new products, processes, transfers, and/or technologies.
- Manages Inventories to achieve company investment goals, communicating risks to all internal customers.
- Optimizes the distribution of finished goods from manufacturing facilities to ensure on-time delivery to designated destinations and/or customers.
- Identifies, communicates, and mitigates supply, capacity, and product age issues.
- Serves as the lead representative for Operations on project teams.
- Actively support quarterly and annual budget reviews by generating applicable inventory data and providing guidance to internal customers.
- Data Analytics, reporting, ad-hoc reports.
What You’ll Need:
- An undergraduate degree in engineering, operations, business, or other comparable qualifications. MBA preferred.
- 5 years of supply chain management experience which could include Production Scheduling, Management Science, Demand Planning & Forecasting, Purchasing, Operations, Customer Service, or Logistics.
- Microsoft Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Access). SAP APO preferred experience.
- Ability to create ad-hoc reporting, Extensive Data Analytical skills
- APICS Certification is a plus.

Salary Range:
Starting Salary Range: $119,800-$144,400. The pay range listed represents the target hiring range for this position; however, the actual base pay offered to the best talent and fit for the posted role will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge, qualifications and skills, relevant experience, geographical location and internal equity. Future compensation decisions for employees in this role will utilize the full pay range, not solely the typical hiring range.
Compensation is adjusted based on the candidate’s local labor market and may vary within this range.
