The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in construction-related accounting and invoicing, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations within the construction office
- Prepare timely and accurate invoices for clients
- Track vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain payment schedules
- Create, review, and manage contracts and project documentation
- Develop and monitor project budgets; provide regular financial updates
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for reporting, job costing, and general bookkeeping
- Support management with financial analysis and forecasting
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required
- Previous accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with project managers and vendors
- Knowledge of invoicing, budgeting, and contract preparation
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
