Job Overview
North Memorial Health – Robbinsdale Hospital is seeking an experienced EEG Technician to join our neurodiagnostic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing routine and complex EEG exams, surgical monitoring, and working with diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
You’ll play a key role in helping diagnose and monitor neurological disorders by conducting high-quality EEG recordings in both lab and intraoperative settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) exams and procedures following established protocols.
- Prepare patients for testing and gather relevant medical history.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist physicians in the analysis and diagnosis of brain disorders.
- Provide EEG services across multiple care areas, including surgical monitoring for carotid endarterectomy.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
- Participate in departmental on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with hospital standards.
Requirements
✅ 2 years of EEG experience
✅ Surgical monitoring experience (Carotid Endarterectomy)
✅ BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
✅ Experience with pediatric through geriatric patients
✅ Proficiency with EPIC EMR
✅ On-call availability
⭐ Preferred: Trauma Level I hospital experience
