Landscaper/Laborer

We are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and physically capable Landscaper/Laborer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and are comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the day. The successful candidate will assist with landscaping, property maintenance, and general labor to ensure our residential and commercial properties remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.

This role requires full-day outdoor work, the ability to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials, and a willingness to perform repetitive physical tasks in varying weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, and mulching.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, and other landscaping materials.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely, including lawn mowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, chainsaws (if qualified), and other power and hand tools.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, soil, rock, mulch, plants, and other materials to and from job sites.
• Remove debris and maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Perform general labor tasks, including digging, shoveling, lifting, hauling, and site preparation.
• Follow all company safety policies and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work efficiently as part of a team while taking direction from supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support landscaping and property maintenance operations.

This position is highly physical and requires candidates to:

• Frequently lift and carry 50 pounds or more throughout the workday.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, push, pull, and reach for extended periods.
• Perform repetitive movements using landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Work outdoors for the entire shift in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and light rain.
• Safely operate heavy landscaping equipment while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Work overtime or occasional weekends as business needs require.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, construction, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to perform physically demanding work.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites.
• Valid CA driver's license
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a safe work environment.
