Spanish Teacher Position Overview
Spanish teachers at Acero Schools lead the curriculum, instruction, and assessment for students to which they are assigned. They relentlessly pursue student growth and achievement through diligent planning, careful instructional execution, and on-going collaboration with colleagues and the school leadership team.
Bilingual Education Teacher-Spanish Teacher Position Overview
Bilingual Education teachers collaborate with other classroom instructors while providing tailored academic instruction in Spanish to English Learners. They are responsible for developing and delivering lesson plans that reflect knowledge of the content and the academic development language standards.

Required Qualifications
Experience
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate the academic progress of students under his/her leadership and articulate the methods used to achieve those results
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
Certificates
- Must possess valid Illinois Professional Educator License or equivalent
- Must possess valid Illinois Foreign Language-Spanish (SPAN) or Bilingual Spanish (BSPA) endorsement or equivalent in grade level of interest
