ACERO Building Components with 20 years in the Carport Industry is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join our Team.
This is a direct hire and full time position. We offer Health Benefits as well as holiday and vacation time paid.
Job Summary:
Perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation, requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, filing, driving a regular truck or a forklift.
Essential Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of financial or transactional data.
- Obtain personal or financial information about customers or applicants.
- Prepare documentation for contracts, transactions, or regulatory compliance.
- Discuss goods or services information with customers or patrons.
- Inspect items for damage or defects.
- Respond to customer problems or complaints.
- Monitor inventories of products or materials.
- Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.
- Confer with coworkers to coordinate work activities.
- Manage clerical or administrative activities.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Collect deposits, payments or fees.
- Send information, materials or documentation.
- Calculate financial data.
- Compile data or documentation.
- Recommend packing or shipping methods.
- Calculate costs of goods or services.
- Calculate shipping costs.
- File documents or records.
- Provide notifications to customers or patrons.
- Promote products, services, or programs.
- Provide information to coworkers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Valid Non-commercial Driver’s license.
- Forklift Driving experience is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience performing clerical functions in warehouse environment (billing, customer service, procurement, or timekeeping)
- Microsoft suite and MS Dynamics knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge
- English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, and rules of composition and grammar.
- Administrative - Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
- Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
