ACERO Building Components with 20 years in the Carport Industry is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our Team.
This is a direct hire and full time position. We offer Health Benefits as well as holiday and vacation time paid.
Job Summary:
Drive truck or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sell or deliver goods, such as food products, including restaurant take-out items, or pick up or deliver items such as commercial laundry. May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles or material-moving equipment.
- Deliver products or services.
- Collect payments for goods or services.
- Provide transportation information to passengers or customers.
- Record sales or transactions data.
- Record details of deliveries or shipments.
- Resolve issues affecting transportation operations.
- Collect fares or payment from customers.
- Clean machinery or equipment.
- Maintain vehicles in good working conditions.
- Load shipments, belongings, or materials.
- Review customer information.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1-year sales, customer service, warehouse experience with operating equipment, a regular truck and loading unloading long and heavy objects is preferred.
- Valid Non-commercial Driver’s License
Knowledge
- Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
