Duties
- Assemble products and components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- 2-3 deliveries a week to Thomasville in a box truck
- Use welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication techniques to complete complex assemblies
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods
- Conduct quality checks with precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve assembly processes
Skills
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and machining tools
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding and sheet metal work
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems
