Role Description This is a full-time, on-site general education position based in Santa Fe, NM. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, integrating fine arts where appropriate. Daily responsibilities include creating a supportive classroom environment, managing classroom routines, and differentiating instruction to meet varied learning needs. The teacher will communicate regularly with families and caregivers, collaborate with colleagues and support staff, and participate in school meetings and professional development. The role also involves supervising students during school activities and contributing to after-school events and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Elementary Education and Teaching, with experience supporting diverse learning styles.
• Ability to design and implement effective Curriculum Development and Education plans aligned with standards.
• Strong Communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.
• Relevant teaching certification or licensure for elementary education (or eligibility to obtain, as required by state regulations).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience integrating arts or creative activities into instruction is beneficial.
• Ability to use classroom technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
• Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, and student-centered teaching practices.
