Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AVOS (Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor) to lead and coordinate the daily operations of autonomous vehicle fleets. In this role, you will oversee the safe and efficient deployment of autonomous vehicles within our transportation network, ensuring seamless integration with existing logistics and supply chain processes. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize routing strategies, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities

• Supervise the deployment, monitoring, and management of autonomous vehicle operations across various routes and locations.
• Coordinate with transportation planning teams to optimize fleet utilization, delivery schedules, and routing efficiency using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS data.
• Oversee dispatching activities for autonomous vehicles, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries within supply chain timelines.
• Manage communication with drivers, logistics partners, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and other communication tools to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine to track shipments, update data entry logs, and maintain accurate records of freight movements.
• Conduct analysis of operational data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in fleet management or shipping & receiving processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, transportation regulations, and company policies during all autonomous vehicle operations.
• Maintain organized documentation related to shipping & receiving, fleet management, dispatching logs, and incident reports for audit purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience in transportation management or logistics coordination with familiarity in freight handling and supply chain operations.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GIS, GPS data, and transportation management system reports.
• Prior experience in dispatching or fleet management roles involving autonomous or traditional vehicles preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and multi-line phone systems.
• Knowledge of logistics software such as Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, or AS400 is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills paired with phone etiquette to liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
