Autonomous Car Driver

Job Summary: The Autonomous Car Driver is responsible for operating and assessing a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, including but not limited to collecting data, providing feedback to the appropriate teams and offering any type of ride hailing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles alone or with a co-driver, adhering to assigned schedules.
• Work independently or in small groups, operating vehicles for 6-8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
• Monitor vehicle systems with continuous focus.
• Provide clear verbal and written feedback on vehicle operations.
• Operate vehicles on various surfaces in closed-course facilities.
• Complete daily reports and document procedures and tests.
• Interact professionally with the public and educate them on self-driving technology as and when required.
• Operate vehicles on defined and undefined routes, in diverse environmental conditions.
• Manage inventory and assets such as laptop, work phone, disks etc

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience on public roads.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Should have a valid passport (based on the need ,some position require travel)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Proficiency in parallel parking.
• Familiarity with touchscreen smartphones, laptop computers and GSuite apps.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate thoughts concisely.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Self-motivated and good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 per hour
