What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autonomous Car Driver position at Aceolution?
Job Summary: The Autonomous Car Driver is responsible for operating and assessing a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, including but not limited to collecting data, providing feedback to the appropriate teams and offering any type of ride hailing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicles alone or with a co-driver, adhering to assigned schedules.
- Work independently or in small groups, operating vehicles for 6-8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- Monitor vehicle systems with continuous focus.
- Provide clear verbal and written feedback on vehicle operations.
- Operate vehicles on various surfaces in closed-course facilities.
- Complete daily reports and document procedures and tests.
- Interact professionally with the public and educate them on self-driving technology as and when required.
- Operate vehicles on defined and undefined routes, in diverse environmental conditions.
- Manage inventory and assets such as laptop, work phone, disks etc
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience on public roads.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Should have a valid passport (based on the need ,some position require travel)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Proficiency in parallel parking.
- Familiarity with touchscreen smartphones, laptop computers and GSuite apps.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate thoughts concisely.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Self-motivated and good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
