Your Opportunity: Maintenance Technician
We are expanding and seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. If you're a hands-on problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and a heart for service, we want to meet you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Make-Ready Units: Prepare apartments for new residents by completing all aspects of the “make-ready” process, including painting, repairs, and inspections.
- Work Orders: Respond promptly to maintenance service requests, ensuring timely and professional completion of repairs.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine property and equipment inspections to ensure everything is operating efficiently and safely.
- Exterior Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of exterior areas including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas. Snow removal and debris cleanup as needed.
- On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to handle after-hours maintenance emergencies.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience including painting, light carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
- HVAC certification required; EPA Universal Certification strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of building systems and maintenance techniques
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with residents and team members
