As a Family Advocate, you’ll build trusting relationships with families, connect them with resources, and support their child’s success in school and in life. What You’ll Do As a Family Advocate, you will: Partner with families to set and achieve goals that support their child’s education, health, and well-being. Connect families with community resources such as healthcare, employment, housing, and social services. Conduct family assessments, develop family partnership agreements, and track progress toward goals. Support families in navigating transitions, including preparing children for kindergarten. Facilitate parent meetings, workshops, and events that strengthen family engagement. Advocate for families and their needs, ensuring their voices are included in program planning and decision-making. Collaborate with teachers, center staff, and community partners to provide holistic support for children and families. Who You Are We’re looking for someone who is: Passionate about building strong family partnerships and helping families succeed. Compassionate, resourceful, and an excellent listener. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. Comfortable connecting with people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Bilingual (Spanish) What You Bring: Associate’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). Pass a physical exam and background check. Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required. Experience in family advocacy, case management, or community outreach preferred.
